Tracks keep connecting automatically, can't delete just one

My tracks keep connecting so when I delete one the others also get deleted.  How do I unconnnect them so I only delete one track at a time?  Thanks!

 I am getting a message that says I don't have permission to upload a video.

 

The photo I just inserted into the program somehow got linked to the sound. I can move the sound separately but when I move the photo the sound moves with it.  The same with deleting it as well.  I didn't click anything to link it and it doesn't always happen; it seems to be random.
