Unable to Add Graphics in Premiere Rush

Community Beginner ,
Feb 22, 2023 Feb 22, 2023

In the desktop app, when I click the blue plus sign to add Titles, Transition Graphics, or Overlays, I select the item (i.e. Basic Title 2-Line) I get the error: An error occurred during download from Adobe Stock server. Please try again. I have closed and re-opened Premiere Rush, and also signed out of my Adobe account and signed back in. Please help!

UPDATE: So I spoke with the Tech Support Department at Full Sail University today and they are aware of the issue as it has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. However, this is the solution they provided me to and it worked (so far):

1. Students must log into stock.adobe.com with their school credentials

2. Click on Templates in the top menu

3. Click on Motion Graphics Templates card (big card towards the right of the screen)

4. Select FILTERS from the left sidebar (should be first icon on th

Hi had a call with Adobe Support - it's a bug, they're still working on it

workaround -

  1.  Go to the Rush Application and get the name of the Titles/Overlays that you plan to use in Sequence. For e.g. “Side Dashes Title”

2.    Go to www.stock.adobe.com, and search for that MOGRT and select it.

3.    Click on “Save to Library”

4.    Go Back to the Rush application and Click on “Saved”

5.    The MOGRT will be available in the list and you will be able to use it from here

I had this issue in our environment and it was due to mandatory permissions for the product profile in the Adobe Admin Console. It appears that you don't get the pop-up to enter these details like you would from the Adobe Stock Web portal. Once these were removed I no-longer recieved the error.

The EDU account may be a different issue depending on your school's license agreement. Do you know if your license allows you to access Adobe Stock content? The titles should be free for Premiere Rush users, but they come from Adobe Stock. So I'm wondering if there's a conflict that's preventing you and your students from using them. You might reach out to your school's IT department and/or Adobe's support:

Hi @Elizabeth5C40,

I read your message and you are saying you have no access to any of the graphics that come with Rush. That is terrible. As I understand it, only EDU users are experiencing the problem. I wonder what's going on there.

I just asked the product team for a response and to see if it can be fixed and I am awaiting a response. It may be due to a licensing feature that EDU admins need to install or a bug from our side. Let's see. I hope to hear back from them. Thanks again to you an

I just tested to see if I could add that particular title, and it worked for me. I'm wondering if there was an issue with Adobe's servers when you tried. You might try adding it again to see if it works now.

I'm still having this issue. The weird thing is, some of the graphics work, and some get the server error. I've had my Admin troubleshoot, and they couldn't figure it out, so they will be contacting Adobe for more help.

Same on this end. On my computer, the message is "An error occurred during download from Adobe Stock Server. Please try again." Some graphics work, some don't.

I am also having the same issue on different computers students are using. But for them, nothing is working.

I am having the same exact issue. I am on my school supplied M1 Macbook Pro 16" and using the school supplied Adobe Creative Cloud account. I have tried EVERY title in Rush (desktop and on iPad) and get the same error.

I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I heard that this service DOES NOT work for ANY school account (Adobe wants your money). I'm only using it for school (because I have to) but I have already purchased Davinci Resolve Studio 18 and will be using that instead of a subscription based software.

7. Rember where you saved the .mogart file(s)

8. Open Premiere Rush, click the Titles icon on the right then the three (3) dots and install template.

That template should now work.

Hi Kevin /Rush users

Having the same issue, the workaround worked last week- Correct answer by Oscar30338481c1kt Community Beginner , Jun 07, 2023

But today it doesn't - error "We couldn't save this graphic to your library"

I downloded the template but Rush cannot open /save it?

Is there another workaround - we have students starting on Rush next week, so we need this resloving this week.

Thanks, Dan

New install of Adobe Rush. Signed in, Creative Cloud is running. Trying to add different motion graphic templates, and I keep getting the error:
"An error occurred during download from Adobe Stock server. Please try again."

Any suggestions?

I'm on version 2.8 ; still having this issue as of recently. Trying to figure out what could be wrong. Checked my internet connection, signed out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, and just trying over and over again. Nothing has seemed to work. Maybe we just need to download an older version of the software? I didn't use to have this issue.

Motion Graphics Import Error: An Error occured during download from Adobe Stock server. Please try again

I never got this to work. I have an internet connection.  The only log file entry for this action is:

Component=ngl-lib_NglController Description="GetCurrentUserEmail: invoked"

The error is so unspecific it is hard to debug.

I tried to install a lower version of Premiere Rush, with still the same error. The program is quite useless if importing a video is the only task that can be done.

Anybody an idea what I could try to make this work?

Can't believe this but I may have found a work around depending on one's specific Adobe subscription; I'm on an educational one, but it could probably still work. Basically, I downloaded the .mogrt file of the motion graphic that I want and have access to in Adobe Stock to my computer, and then I went the "Add Graphic" menu, clicked on the three dots, and clicked on "install template" so I could find that .mogrt file on my computer and now, I'm able to use it, I just have to go to the graphics that I have saved instead of searching in premiere rush. I think there's a bug with the way that premiere rush is connecting to adobe stock, because I would think that normally, rush would just be able to do this step for you instead of you needing to do it manually. It's a bit tedious if you have a lot of motion graphics you need to work with, but it will work, I think. I think you could also do that with any .mogrt file, as long as it's compatible with premiere rush. Not an expert, but I hope that made sense
