Question

Weird Audio in Rush

So I recorded a video that had a lot of noise in the background and so i took advantage of the remove background noise feature in Rush and cranked it up to 70% intensity.

When I would to to play back the video, the audio for the first second of each clip was very quiet and then it would go back to normal. I scrubbed it back and did the playback again and it seemed to all be completely fine.

However when I went to export the video to my files and watched it from there, I had the same issue as before. Is there anything i can do within rush to try and fix this as much as possible? Thanks.

I had the same problem with a weird chorus like effect on the voice after cutting.
I found the problem, when I looked at the Audio > Advanced panel I saw there were 4 audio tracks instead of 2.
Disabled the second two and it was good. Had to do it for all cuts seperately tho.

    Hi Morgan,

I haven't seen this issue myself but a few things you can try

    1. Remove and then reapply Remove Background Noise

    2. If possible, trim the clip a little to force the clip to be re-analyzed

    3. Sync your project and export from another device

Also, if you would like to share your file with me that's causing this issue, I can try to determine the cause on my end.

    Thanks!

    Hi everyone,

I am sorry to say I've been struggling with the noise in Adobe Rush for some time. The sound on my videos is fine if I play them in the media player, but in rush, once I import and start editing on my PC, the sound is distorted and becomes unbearable in some video cuts, from one second to the next, within the same sequence. Could you please let me know if there's a solution to the problem? It seems this is a recurrent issue.

Thank you very much for your time!

    Hello,

I've looked at the other posts on your forum, including this one, and no
solution seems to be working. Maybe it has to do with auto volume.
Unfortunately, I cannot uncheck auto volume as this reduces my audio
    quality significantly.
Please tell me why Adobe Rush is distorting the audio (mp3) when cutting
the video (mp4). It's obvious this is affecting a large number of Adobe
Rush users and no clear foolproof solution is offered.

I am still waiting for you to let me know how to solve this issue!

    Thank you!

    Vivian

Hey Vivian – really sorry to hear this. This is very unexpected so we'll report this to our engineering team immediately.

Were the audio files edited at all before you imported them into Rush? Do they have any audio presets on them? Would you be able to share a test file with us so we can reproduce the behavior and find a solution?

Once I have that test file I can find a solution for you. You can upload the files to assets.adobe.com and share a link with us, or you can use Google Drive or Dropbox or whatever you'd like!

Happy to help, thanks for helping me investigate the issue.
