Question

Why are my clips laggy and freezing?

Hi, I have been using Premiere Rush just fine for a couple of other videos I've made but on this particular project, I've exported Xbox Clips via OneDrive and downloaded them onto my computer, like I've done before and it has worked fine. But this time, when I put the clips in the timeline, they are stuttering, lagging and freezing repeatedly. I've tried restarting my computer, WiFi and the clips by themselves are just fine, no lag or anything.

It's just when the clips go in the timeline it goes all stuttery and it's never happened before.

Any help please? Thanks.

Hi George21786880g422!

Sorry to hear that. Could you share your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)? Can you share the screenshot of the Audio Hardware? Edit > Preferences

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hi Kartika,

I've attached a screenshot of the audio hardware screen as requested, I did try ticking the 'Pre-render sequences for playback' box but didn't change anything. I don't think it's my computer in my opinion as this has never happened before on Premiere Rush and I've also now noticed, as well as the clips being stuttery and laggy, the second one speeds up by itself!
