Premiere Rush stuck at preparing media.

I'm running premiere rush on a windows 10 laptop. I'm trying to get started with tutorial and it stuck at the loading screen.

if I click cancel, it'll stuck again with the blue bar filled, and then I have to force close it.

I tried on another computer, but I got the exact same issue. i don't know how this is possible, but same issue on two laptops.

Is there something I did wrong?

What kind of footage are you importing? Can you confirm that your machine meets the minimum requirements for Rush? https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/system-requirements.html

2. Your Laptop configuration?

3. Did you minimize the app  right after you click on 'Create' button?

premiere rush version is 1.1.0

I'm using Xiaomi mi pro laptop, core i5-8250u, nvidia mx150, 8g ram, windows 10 home version 1803(KB4499167)

and by the way, this showed up when i open premiere rush this time

Im having the exact same problem with loading up the sample files and it crashing on preparing so ur not alone

Hi Caroline,

 

I am having the same issues. It is very frustrating. I cannot start editing as I am stuck on the preparing media window and have to restart the app to make any difference.

 

Please help.

Try disabling the Sync with cloud before creating the project.
