I have a RH project I've been responsible for long term. Discovered today an issue with one page-- when I generate the output and look at it on my device before sending it to our technical team for deployment, one page is blank except for the Master Page and skin. The content of the page is blank. I deleted the page and ceated it anew and I'm having the same issue. What am I missing?

I didn't think of that-- thank you! Here's an issue I see, but I do not know how to resolve it.

That doesn't look very blank - you sure you selected the right spot to turn on the Inspect tool?

It's really hard to see what's going on with the code you posted (I think it's debug code rather than the proper code view) but I think you've got all content in a "topic-header rh-hide" div tag somehow. I wonder if something got messed up over time and you somehow have master page code in your topic (this used to happen all the time in Classic but often you couldn't tell). What does the code in RH look like?

Thanks! My proficiency with HTML is low.

Is this the problematic line? If so, can you point me to resources so that I can learn how to fix it?

Go to the topic page in RH and switch to code view - then post a picture of that HTML.

Ok this is cool-- I appreciate the help troubleshooting this.
This one does not have the <div> tags. Is the solution as simple as removing that code?

I think it's worth a try - I'd comment them out using <!-- and –> around the lines you want commented. Don't forget the closing </div> lines too.

Looking at that code again in the clean view, I'm now wondering if you also somehow got output files in your source at some point in Classic; it happened pretty commonly, but they've made it much more difficult in New UI 🙂 . The gotoFullLayout() javascript function I believe only gets included in the output. It looks like it occurs in multiple places in the body of the code, not just the top, so it's pretty weird, but if it's an old Classic project, it's not entirely surprising.

If everything is working, I wouldn't worry too much at this point, but keep it in mind if you get funny behaviour in future.

However, if you're worried about it, I would suggest a bit of time consuming, but not hard, work to clean things up. Create a temporary copy of the topic as a backup, just in case.

Copy the text of the topic in to a text editor to remove all the formatting and html. Delete all the text from the topic and double-check in the code view to make sure that there is almost nothing inside the <body></body> tags. There might be a <p> tag or <br> tag and that's okay, you just want to make sure there aren't a bunch of div tags or anything like that. (Leave everything inside the <head></head> tags alone as that looks okay to me.) Switch back to the editor view and paste in the text from the text editor. Reapply styles, images, hyperlinks etc. Once everything looks okay, delete the backup topic.
