Account Ban issue

New Here ,
Aug 30, 2024 Aug 30, 2024

Dear Adobe Stock Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share an idea with you. I am deeply disappointed by the banning of my account. I want to emphasize that every person working as an Adobe Stock contributor considers it a business, working hard to grow and improve, not just as a part-time job. For many contributors, this is their sole source of income. Unfortunately, Adobe Stock often bans accounts over minor mistakes or oversights by contributors, and many times, emails are not even received.

I request Adobe Stock to consider that contributors invest a lot of effort into growing their accounts, from the beginning to achieving success. If they make a mistake or oversight, Adobe Stock should notify them via email, highlighting the mistake and issuing a warning. I am confident that every contributor would prefer to correct their mistakes rather than have their account banned. If Adobe Stock could send one or two warning emails, highlighting the errors, every contributor would learn from their mistakes and provide better assets. This approach would benefit Adobe Stock and all contributors.

If my message reaches you, I kindly ask that you give it due consideration.

Thank you, Adobe Stock Team.

This is not the Adobe stock team, and Adobe does not publicly comment on the reasons for your account to be banned. The most common reason, however, was fraud, before the rise of generative AI. I can imagine that now the lead reason is not following the rules, as we found that many (blocked) contributors were not aware of the rules and terms and conditions attached to your contributor account. It is indeed so that many users are simply contributing masses of assets without taking care to check if those assets are allowed to be submitted. It is indeed not the task of Adobe to educate the contributors about their failures. As a supplier, especially if you do that professionally, Adobe can expect that you provide only highly professional assets, in accordance with the well established submission rules. Please not also, that sporadically, these rules change, and it is your task to monitor the Adobe resources to check if that concerns your assets.

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.
