Adobe (keyword) attention please!

New Here ,
Jun 13, 2018 Jun 13, 2018

Hello,

Keywording on adobestock is total disaster. It needs to be changed as a priority. If you want to have great sales like Shutterstock you need to make everything easy

for your contributors. Auto keyword needs to be removed, priority keywords too and only suggest keyword tool is ok like on Shutterstock where you can put what ever you want. On Adobe I spent so much time on keywording and I have 1000 mouse clicks more than on Shutterstock. Just copy and paste is enough. We are doing business here and you need to do everything to make our job easier. Copy from the best. I dont want to use other software like Bridge, Lightroom etc.. to do this job. I spend time on something that does not have to be like that. Do this and you will see how number of photos jumping momentarily and sales too. This is emergency!

My 6000 photos are waiting...

Best regards

Nik

You can copy/paste keywords. Above the keyword boxes is a link that says "paste keywords." Click that and you will see an open box where you can paste all keywords freely.

You can clear Auto Keywords if you don't want them by clicking the link under the keywords box(es) that says "Erase all keywords."

Hello,

Well, I completely disagree with you. The auto keyword is great - if you use it correctly! It IS made easy! Nothing complicated about it whatsoever! You CAN put in whatever you want. So, I really don't understand what you want to say. Why do you think is it a total disaster?

well you can do it once in LR and then it's available every time you upload your file to any stock site. That's much easier than adding them per stock site you're part of.

The only thing that bugs me about this is that LR automatically alphabetises keywords. This is something Adobe have yet to implement in LR despite repeated calls for it and so it's kind of ironic that Adobe Stock and Adobe's own photo cataloging software have different approaches to keywords.

Personally, I think Adobe should add a feature to choose how you want to display keywords in LR so you can be flexible.
