AdobeStock review delay

Explorer ,
Aug 12, 2024 Aug 12, 2024

It’s been three months since I uploaded my assets on Adobe, but they still haven’t reviewed my photos. I’ve reached out to the support team via email, but all I’m getting are the same copy-paste responses

A lot of contributors are experiencing the same issue. There is probably a backlog of submissions. Emailing support won't speed things up. You'll just need to continue being patient. Sorry.

Many of us are experiencing similar delays. I have a couple of assets that have probably waited 4 months, while other newer ones have been reviewed. There's really nothing we can do except be patient.

A friend suggested deleting and re-uploading pic to speed up the process, but I'm not sure if that would help. Have you tried anything like this before?

I'd wait at least four months or longer before trying that. And do it with a small handful. You never know...you might be next in line in the queue. That's the frustrating part.

I have. And that didn't help. By the end of last year I had a few files been under review for 3 months. I deleted and reuploaded them. And you know what? They had been under review for another 3 months. But they were approved eventually. So I wouldn't recommend you to reupload the files. But the choice is yours, of course. My opinion: if the files are stuck in a queue, they are. They will be reviewed one day. Reuploading won't help. Now I again have a small batch of files that is under review for 3+ months. I leave the situation as it is, and not going to delete and reupload the files.

Are they photos or AI? Have you had ANY assets reviewed at this point?

The assets are AI-generated. No, I haven't had any of them reviewed yet.

I'm just guessing, but I suspect new contributors submitting AI are being put on the back burner for the time being. Be patient.

Which is it? Three months or six months? If it's six months, you might want to contact support. But give them specific details as to how long you've been waiting. A lot of people have been waiting at least three months. But I've yet to see a post about reviews being six months out.

I mean I started uploading images to Adobe Stock about six months ago. However, for the past three months my assets have been stuck in review.

Then that's par for te course these days. The board has been inundated lately with contributors still waiting after two or even three months. Also, keep in mind that, after the first month, Adobe "rounds up" the wait time. In other words, if you uploaded an image 30 days ago, then at 31 days, it will state that the image was uploaded two months ago.

I tried it on a couple of images that seemed to have been abandoned at the back of my queue. They remained under review for several months more before they were finally approved. I don't recommend deleting and re-uploading.

There's really no rhyme or reason these days. Last week, I upload 5 assets around 7:30 PM Central time. Within three minutes, I went and checked for an update on reviews and 1 of the five images was accepted immediately while the others are still waiting in the queue. This has happened to me a number of times, especially if I upload relatively late in the evening. Other than that, my assets tend to be reviewed in the order submitted, so things are normal in that respect.
