Announcing the 2025 Firefly bonus for Contributors

As mentioned in our Adobe Stock 10-year anniversary message, we are always looking for additional income streams for our Contributors.  

Today, we are issuing our third Firefly Contributor bonus payment to recognize your continued support with helping train Adobe Firefly generative AI models.  

The 2025 bonus is based on photos, videos, vectors, illustrations, and Generative AI content considered for training between June 3, 2024, and June 2, 2025, and the number of licenses that those assets generated in the same 12-month period. 

A banner on the Insights > My Statistics tab in the Contributor portal provides the specific amount that was added to your account.

Hello.

When I check my account, I see this message regarding this issue:

"$4.88 added to existing balance as a participating Firefly bonus. A one-time minimum payment of $1 is required. Learn more..."

I didn't understand the "A one-time minimum payment of $1 is required"

Where do I need to make the $1 payment, and how do I do it?

You don't make a minimum payment. That's the minimum amount you need to earn from the Firefly bonus. So if you only made .99 cents, you wouldn't get paid anything.

You can withdraw to PayPal only if your balance reaches $25. However, if you receive this bonus, you can withdraw to PayPal with as little as $4. This means your balance must be at least $1 and not $0.90. You can only withdraw less than $25 once, and after that, withdrawals will revert to $25 or more. That's my understanding.

Correct. You can withdraw temporarily your balance when it reached at least $1, not the standard $25. But you should withdraw immmediatly, as it will revert after a while to the standard $25 withdrawal limit.

I can't get bonus?

You can if your assets qualify. Assets used to train Firefly are assets that have previously been licensed. Even if your assets have been sold, that does not mean they were used to train Firefly. If your assets were used, but your bonus did not exceed $1, there is no payment. Not all contributors receive a Firefly bonus in any case.

If your assets have not been used for training you won't get the bonus.
