Adobe employees do not answer questions in this user-to-user forum.

This appears to be an Artifical Intelligence (machine generated) image of a fictional character.  Is that correct?

If yes, no property release is required.

  • A Model Release Form is required only if you used a real model for the likeness.
  • A Property Release Form is required for an actual landmark like the Eifel Tower.  Or if you created the entire original artwork yourself -- a  hand drawn illustration or a hand painted portrait. You would sign a Property Release as the artist who created it.

If you need more help, consult your legal advisor.

No one here can give you legal advice.  That's not our job.

Hope that helps.

Isaac Newton could be accepted. There may be a different issue, however. Sometimes people don't see the evident.

There's no reason to be snippy about this.  It's a legal issue.  Adobe doesn't know who created the sketches unless you sign a property release.  You're giving Adobe permission to sell your original artwork for commercial use. That's all.

At first sight, even added the authorization form similar to the one added for my sketches that were accepted, for my AI generated images, even corrected in PS and stating in the comment "putative portreait of newton based on masterworks..." , Adobe requests another form (or I do not known, maybe the same but filled in differently or maybe that I need to describe the file in another way.).

As Adobe refused the first submission, mayb be should I submit them as AI generated and in stating that characters are fictive and without form ?

Sorry the form added doesn't show the same portrait. But the one I added to the original image matched with the image. However, Adobe asked to correct it without a detailled explanation.

As I understand it, you need to fill out a property release--not a model--release, signed by you as both owner and creator of the work in question to show that the sketches were done by you.

1st case : drawing I created for which I am the only creator, there is no model nor other owner than me and they are pure invention based on various old paintings (17th cent.). What document do I need to fill in ?

2d case :  photorealistic renderings I did with the support of AI to match at best with the original paintings from which they are inspired (not copied). What document do I need to fill in ?

And read what @Jill_C just posted. These are muddy waters, especially without having seen the assets in question.

1st case, here is a sketch i did. in my case, what to add in the upper left box of the adobe property form (Attach visual reference of the property) ? a copy of all paintings that inspiured me ???

For my 2d case, an AI generated image bases on the same old paintings, same question, what do I need to add in the upper left box ?
