Can I Edit Titles, Keywords, or Categories After Image Approval?

Hi Adobe Stock Community,

I have a quick question regarding editing content details after an image has been approved and is live on Adobe Stock.

Is it possible to edit the title, keywords, or category of an image after it’s been approved? If so, will these changes affect the image's visibility or search ranking in any way?

I want to ensure that I’m optimizing my portfolio for better discoverability, but I’m also cautious about making changes that could unintentionally reduce exposure or reset its position in search results.

Would really appreciate any insights or experiences anyone can share!

Thanks in advance,
Ashraful Alom

It may effect the visibility of your assets. But, that is why you are doing it.  Changing the category has no effect on searching. Any changes you make usually take a few hours for the servers to synchronize.

I suppose it could, if the image has already been selling regularly. Those I would leave alone, of course.

Yes, editing titles and keywords to improve them is a good idea and won't harm your account. I do it regularly when I see an image in my portfolio that could have been described better. Any changes will be re-reviewed by the Moderation staff.

Yes, you can edit your title, category, and keywords. Go to your dashboard, select the image you want to update, and scroll down until you see the information related to the image. Roll your cursor over the pencil icons, make your edits, then click Save.

Thanks, but I am worried that if I make changes, it will affect my account or image's visibility or search ranking.

I do this, when I want to improve my search ranking, or when I need to correct typing mistakes, that probably affect my search ranking. (Sometimes, some typing mistakes help to improve your ranking, especially when people tend to make the same mistakes. So things like “rankng” may help, if your search keyword is “ranking”, you can google for common typing mistakes)
