Hi..
I have two questions.
1, a friend of mine has signed up as an adobe stock contributor. He and I hope to create images using the same AI generation account. If we do, how will it affect our adobe stock accounts?
2, He is in a difficult area, so there is a problem with the internet speed. It takes a long time for him to upload the image to adobe stock. So if I only upload pictures to his account via my computer how will it affect our accounts?
Thank you.

I'm not a fortune teller, but I see your accounts being deactivated in the very near future. But let's see what other contributers say.

I haven't done that yet. I also think that the account will be suspended under several accounts. So I am looking for details on this.

Sounds iffy. Doesn't take long to upload images, even with a slow connection. But, since you're saying it does, I'll play devil's advocate and suggest your friend click the 'upload' button and go take a walk or do chores or whatever, until the upload is complete. I've read quite a few posts over the past year or so in which someone asks a question about themself and a 'friend' sharing this or that, and it always sounds like someone who is wondering how they can get around Adobe's rules pertaining to having multiple accounts. If you're wondering whether or not you should do something that could be perceived as breaking Adobe Stock Contributor ToS, then the answer is no, you shouldn't. Ever.

Let's say he uploaded the pictures himself. The other question I have. Will it be a problem if we both use one AI generated account? Thanks.

Sorry, but questions like this sound suspect, especially since it's related to AI. Why not each having their own account? It doesn't make a lot of sense to make something so simple so complicated.

He lacks technical knowledge. He is new to this. I don't know how to learn this with his job. Most likely he will give up on this. I don't use my AI accounts very often. So as a start I am trying to share my AI account with him.

But he have to upload images to you in the first place? That's as slow as uploading to Adobe ..?

Slower, @Festive_epicness157F, slower! I suppose OP does not have a speedy line, and definitely not as speedy as Adobe. But to be honest, if it's the neighbour, they can exchange data via a stick. But how do they access the AI account?

It is and remains a slimy story. But let's say this: it doesn't matter what we assume here or not. In the end, all that matters is what Adobe makes of this story. And people have already been banned for having and operating multiple accounts.

I think you should read the terms and conditions of the Generative AI tool you're using. It's unlikely that allowing multiple users to "share" one account is permitted. That means you're sharing your logon ID, which certainly makes it look like you and "your friend" are the same person.
Similarly, if you were to upload assets to your friend's Adobe Stock account, you would have to use his logon ID and password. Are you also going to do all the title and keyword entry for him? If his internet is so slow, how is he going to generate and edit the images and send them to you ? There are so many red flags in this scheme you've proposed that it certainly seems to be a violation of both the GenAI company's T&C's as well as Adobe's.

The thing you said that images upload won't take so much long shows that you don't work in Ai. Usually who works in only Ai images won't less than a 1000 images at a time.

This does not make sense. Uploading a single image to Adobe stock does not take that much time. Uploading 1000 assets takes 1000x that “not that much time”. You should not upload 1000 assets, if you did not have checked and corrected those 1000 assets. Checking and correcting takes much more time than uploading.

It doesn't take much technical knowledge to download photos You're taking risks for nothing Everyone must have their own account; these are the rules, and you must follow them if you want to avoid problems

To answer question 1. If you use the same AI generation account, that sounds like password sharing that probably is not allowed. for the AI account. It will not affect your Adobe account. You do however, have to be the owner of the images uploaded to the Adobe account. If there are seperate Adobe accounts, you may only upload your own images to your account. You cannot share accounts with others.
Question 2. You can upload his images to his account. That is okay but, you may not upload your images to his account.

That won't affect your Adobe stock account. I have, however, always the feeling that “a friend of mine” means “me supplying the same assets to different accounts”, and that leads to banning. If it is allowed to share the AI generator account, is a different issue.

This is the reality. I will not question the motive of your question. I've had instances whereby the Internet service is so slow I cannot upload to Adobe at all because each time I try uploading most or all files get timed out. So, I'll assume your question is genuine. I also assume your friend is in a different area in the same country. The question do arise, however, is why the friend does not report the issue to the Internet provider to get the service problem fixed or use an alternate service, for example mobile data service as against fix-line service?
Now, let's assume you were using a public computer and another Adobe stock contributor from another area decides to use the same computer, are we to understand that every contributor who uses that computor will end up with a concelled account?
There should be clear difference with both accounts, his and yours, with the ID to show it's two different people. Therefore, an inocent use of your computer to submit his files to his computor should not be a problem. The problem would be if based on the activity on both accounts, there is reason to believe that he is not the one submitting the files.
I would not argue on the basis of multiple accounts, because multiple accounts are permitted under certain cercomstances. Multiple accounts are only prohibited if they all have the same category files or similar files. If you decide to create an account for AI files and one for photo files, that's allowed and there is no way two people whould be submitting the same files. Frankly, it is more benefitial to manage just one account.
In like manner there should not be a problem with multiple people using the same application to generate each his own files and it is clearly so. The multiple use of the application is what the rightful licensee and the owner of the application would need to work out, if it is ok for use on mulltiple computers. The problem would be if you both submit similar AI files.
I would not like to know that if my friend visits me I cannot close out my adobe account and allow him/her to use my computer to submit his/hers.
Best wishes
Jacquelin

You can upload in "your friend's" without logging into his account in your PC through SFTP upload. But I don't take any guarantee that your account won't be de activated. You can search for SFTP online. And yes you can upload images on SFTP Also in case you have a question in your mind after you will watch the video about that online. The upload process is also same.
