If you use Topaz Phot AI I wondering if you could answer the following:
When I drag and drop an image into topaz photo AI…does it automatically correct my image without me doing anything else? After I drag and drop and it does it’s auto thing, the next step would be to save the image. Is that correct? Is that it? I don’t need to use the menu on the Right – I just drag and drop, Topaz automatically makes the fixes, so all that is left to do is for me to save the image to the upscale size I want?
Other than overriding the automated fixes, what use is the menu on the right side for.

I have Photo AI but have never been able to use it successfully. It more often than not made things worse, not better. That said, I'd recommend watching some YouTube videos where photographers more familiar with Photo AI than myself show some examples of how they use it. But bear in mind, like most YouTube training videos, they are cherry picking the assets they use in order to better guarantee success with the end product. And the method one photographer uses to improve a photo will not necessarily be applicable to other photos.

Been watching videos all day. Quite confusing. Even read the instructions. It's as if everyone wants to dive into the more complex subjects and not address how the workflow works. After hours of watching and reading, I thought I'd see if anyone here may have experience using it. As far as methods..that's the issue. As far as I can tell, there is only one method. Upload/drag and drop the image and topaz automatically makes the adjustments without you doing anything After topaz does the auto adjustments, the only thing left to do is to upscale it. At least I think that is how it works...I'm trying to be certain and was hoping to get confirmation from someone who uses it.
The reason I'm looking to use another upscaler is because Adobe Stock turned down all the images that were upscaled by MidJourney upscaler. Mostly because of artifacts. Adobe must put the images under a rigorous examination with high-level zoom because it is hard for me to find any artifacts.
What do you upscale your images with?

I use Gigapixel AI. Which, for the most part, has simpler controls. I think Topaz is phasing it out, however. They claim to have come out with version 7.0 of Gigapixel AI, but when I click to see the upgrade price, I'm taken to the latest version Photo AI.
In any case, EVERY upscaler is going to introduce or at least magnify artifacts. There is no automatic fix. That's where Photoshop comes in.

Thanks for your input....I think we can close this post. I'm going to use Photoshop to manually adjust/fix my image after I upscale it on MidJourney.
