How Many Images Should I Upload Daily to Boost Sales on Adobe Stock?

Community Beginner ,
Nov 22, 2024 Nov 22, 2024

I currently have 619 images on my Adobe Stock profile, out of which 380 images are under review. I want to ask for advice on how many images I should upload daily to make my content more visible to buyers and generate sales.

My categories are:

  • Abstract wallpapers
  • Geometric designs
  • Seamless patterns
  • Designs for Print-On-Demand (POD)
  • Images with transparent backgrounds (currently under review).

All my images are AI-generated and have been upscaled to 10x resolution to ensure high quality.

We cannot give you a 100% solution.
The guidelines are well known:

1- Have assets that are in demand.

2-Have assets in genres that are not overpopulated in the database.

3-Have quality assets in diverse genres.

4-Have well thought out keywords and titles.

5-Continue regular uploading.

6-Build a large portfolio.

Follow up: There is no way you can upscale an AI image 10 times to "ensure quality." Even Gigapixel AI, the best upscaler on the market today, has a limit of 6 times, and even that is way, way more than required for stock.

Your first three categories in particular are boring and probably will not generate sales. Anyone can produce such assets with little or no graphic experience or talent.

The Adobe database is saturated with wallpapers, whether they are abstract, geometric, or seamless—it doesn’t make much of a difference.
Trying to figure out what is in demand is the biggest challenge for contributors.
Having a very diverse portfolio and regularly uploading high-quality assets is key.

Adobe has always recommended a "slow but steady" approach rather than mass uploads. 5-10 assets per day is what I strive for. However, you also need to consider how competitive your asset categories are. There are more than 1.7 MILLION assets in the database tagged with "abstract background". I think it's safe to say that this category is already saturated, and that means that Buyers are probably not going to see or license your assets.

Upscaling tenfold is not a sign of quality.

Designs for print on demand: you don't control the use of your assets.

Abstract wallpapers: they are abundantly in the database, so expect low sales.

Seemless pattern: if they are really seamless, they may be successful.

Cutout objects are probably your best bet, if the quality of the cutout (and the object) is good enough.

It is recommended to submit a few assets regularly, instead of submitting all at onece. Regular updates show that the account is alive and new items get a better visability, which will help in overall your account.

However, there is no magic formula. Submit quality assets only.
