I don't do AI yet being rejected for it

I take a lot of in camera multiple exposures and I sometimes image overlay (in camera). I don't use editing if not for exposure, sometimes.  Most of my photos are out of camera yet a lot of my recent submissions have been rejected because presumably AI generated  -

Utilizzo non conforme del nome di un altro artista.

- Contenuti di IA generativa non dichiarati.

- Contenuti non conformi alle linee guida generali

Why is this happening and how can i solve the issue?  I have other photos waiting to be reviewed, wouldn't like this to happen again.

No. You got a Non-compliant refusal. The text in that refusal is, like all text, stock text and shows only the most probable reasons for all refusals of this kind. So basically, you can disregard the text, and check the documentation for this.

You did a nice colour editing, but that editing is not allowed on stock. Keep your editing to correct flaws in the file and let the buyer do this monochrome look, if they need that. They can easily get this result, but they can't return to the full colour version of your picture.

Thank you, you are right, there is color editing in that photo.  It's not actually one of those that got rejected, but one from that set. 

I think I should be able to choose the look I prefer though.  It is my work, if I wish for it to stay monochrome, that should be my choice.  I understand this is not business like thinking though!

I wouldnt know where to start, to color edit.  It's a lightroom preset, I thought they were allowed.  But like you say, not really necessary.

They are not necessarily thought to be used for Adobe stock. Not only that it is not necessary, but your assets will get refused.

I think I should be able to choose the look I prefer though.  It is my work, if I wish for it to stay monochrome, that should be my choice.

You can edit your assets as you like, but Adobe can refuse what does not fit in their needs. If you edit for stock, you should edit according to the rules imposed by Adobe.

Thank you.  I have been uploading for years but only just recently experimented using the color presets on some of my "backgroundlike" photos, thats why I am a bit confused. Thanks again

The presets are great for your art pictures, not for your stock assets.

If you have been uploading for years, perhaps rereading the guidance on the Adobe Stock Learn & Support pages could be helpful. Guidelines are changed from time to time, with little notice.

Suit yourself but you won't sell anything if you don't give customers what they NEED.

• Read & follow the submission guidelines or don't submit it to Stock.

• Stock is not Instagram. 

• Stock is not an art gallery. 

• Stock is a global assets business the connects artists with millions of potential customers worldwide.  This is a golden opportunity to reach customers you would never reach any other way.  Use it or lose it.  It's up to you.
