A simple image of a upper body. Utilizing the provided walkthrough, I am able to remove the background without issue. Next step is to create a new background using generative fill. It doesn't really matter what prompt I type in, it's usually the same, a vague image of...something. It's as if the fill is HUGE and the portion I am able to see is just a small portion.
I have tried various prompts such as:
image of earth from space
black and white stripes
scary spiders
hundreds of scary spiders
lots of spiders
lots of centipedes
fields of peaches
etc etc...I was throwing everything at it to see and it's always the same.
I fear this may be a PEBCAK situation, however.
Thanks in advance all you grus!

And of course I can't figure out how to edit my OP.

Community beginners can't edit their posts. That is by design. Experienced forum users will get that privilege as soon as they step up in the forum hierarchy. The theory behind this is that abusive users will be gone by that time.

Have you tried generative expand, to give the bot more room to work with in the background? Just a wild guess. Also, the reason you can't figure out how to edit your post is because only forum moderators can do so. So you're not overlooking something obvious. 😉

What tool do you use for image editing? You should use a kind of image editor (it does not need to be Photoshop, but as we are here with Adobe, Photoshop is fine). With Photoshop, you can use layers to get your asset over a new background.
But this is not necessarily an issue for stock contributors, is it?
