You may have found a very strict moderator. I've circled the things I personally would have fixed or removed before submitting. One, some, or all may be been the reason it was not accepted.

The DOF doesn't really make sense...

I should clarify. By "strict," I mean a moderator who was doing the job they were hired to do and noticing errors a less careful moderator might overlook.

Seriously? What's wrong with the cat's whiskers? Or with the whisker sticking out? Cats have them and it's in this place.

Sure, but your right side for sure is not correct and does not correlate with the left side.

If you have a deeper look at the whiskers, you see some rendering errors, where you see clearly that the AI has no clue about whiskers.IMG_2700.jpeg

In addition, some of the whispers are aliased.

Are you confused by the split whisker? Seriously. Honestly, if I needed such a plot, this cat would be ideal. I judge purely as a buyer. He really is almost ideal!

Judging as a buyer, I would return the asset:

IMG_2701.jpeg

Do not kill the messengers. I doubt that the moderator even got near to the whiskers. I would have rejected this on the basis of the salmon texture and the blown out reflections. If that would have been OK, I would have refused on the basis of the DOF. If that would have been OK, I would have rejected this because of the paw. Maybe I would have seen the whiskers, maybe not. Moderators only need to see one error, and the refusal is earned. We are pointing out all the errors we see. The whiskers are an easy fix, why not applying it.

The most noticeable thing is the paw. That's why I say it's ALMOST perfect. Everything else is gorgeous.

Sure, it's nearly perfect. So are you happy, as a buyer, with nearly perfect assets?

I could use this picture on a PowerPoint, but not on a billboard.

As @daniellei4510 said, the moderator was doing their job.

You have too high an opinion of people using AI images for their products and advertising) From what I see on products and in advertising, this image is much better than most of those used)

Doesn't matter. While I realize there is often no accounting for bad taste, use of poorly edited AI elsewhere does not mean it should be acceptable here. None of the issues pointed out in this particular asset are beyond fixing, and they need to be fixed if the contributor wishes to have it accepted.

I said "I", I didn't say "they". 😉

I've seen advertisings that are suboptimal. I'm sometimes doing advertisings for brochures and the same. What buisnes owners send in for reproduction is very often bad quality. I redo a lot of them, if I only have the opportunity to do so.

You shouldn't be with bad against worse. You should do good work and produce correct assets.

Look at the whiskers on both sides of the cat's face. Cats don't normally have dense whiskers on one side compared to the other.

There are some real issues with your asset, like the DOF as pointed out by @Jill_C . But there are also other points to ckeck: IMG_2693.jpeg
