How is the profit calculated for a sold video? I sold a video and I only got 2 USD. But my videos are selling for 63 USD in 1080p and 163 USD in 4K. Since these are my selling prices, I don't understand why my profit is only 2 USD.

At other agencies you get next to nothing for a video. Seldom you get a 'lot'. That's how things work today.

On Pond5 you can get much more also because you decide the selling price

And how much assets do you sell? I mean: not offer to sell, but really sell?

I haven't actually sold anything on Pond5 yet.

I have a theoretical chance that someone will pay me $1,000 for one of my assets, but in real life, nobody will do. That's the difference. Adobe stock is a high demand stock service. If your assets are good and in demand, chances a that you will make more money with small sales that you will do on Pond5 or elsewhere. Other microstock agencies don't pay the same amount...

I think you are right and let's hope so.
Thanks for giving me all the information
