Hello, I recently had a few images rejected as being Non Compliant with a list of possible reasons. I'm still rather new to this so I'm not sure what the non compliance is. If anyone would be willing to take a look and educate me, I'd greatly appreciate it. (And if the non compliance is that my pictures aren't any good, that's fine, your honesty will be appreciated.)

Thumbnails aren't big enough to work out what the problem might be.
Can you upload bigger images?

It could be due to your keywords.
There is also a possible problem with IP on the 'boardwalk' photo and quality issues with the bird photo.

Hi @Joseph289584536bjl ,
Remove the sign board or its content. That is an IP issue. The file has a white balance issue. It is too blue. The highlights is too high. I am not sure if you'll get away with the sunlight burning out the details of the building. Correct the exposure and resubmit.
This file also has a white balance issue. It is too blue and blue color fringing around the edge of the subjects. You need to correct that before the file will be considered for acceptance. This bird is in front and not sharp. I am not sure if that will influence another refusal, but you can correct the rest and try again.
Best wishes

After 2 attempts at attaching, my problem must be with the way they were submitted. My pictures look much better than what you'll see from the attached.

Nothing is really in focus in the photo of the birds, but this would normally result in a Quality issue. For the second photo, you've included a sign, which would be an intellectual property violation.

Another comment about the birds. Focusing issues aside, there's really no central point of interest in the composition. If the shot had been composed to concentrate on one or two birds, with the others merely complementing the scene or not be include at all, I believe this would result in a stronger photo.

Hi @Joseph289584536bjl ,
Non-compliant refusal usually has to do with not following the submission guidelines or if your files were refused and you resubmit without making the adjustments. All that I've come across in the forum so far are files that were previously refused and resubmitted without adjustments. Is that the case with you? There are other reasons for non-compliant refusals that you will learn of here.
Regards
Jacquelin

If you're trying to take commercial-ready Stock images with a low quality camera, chances are your images are not compliant with Stock's minimum submission requirements.

A frame, a signature etc are reasons to refuse for non-compliance. This list is, however not exhastive. It may also be, that the moderator ticked the wrong refusal reason.

This is non compliant. Other errors as noted in the many post you got are also present. You need to address all the issues. The birds are highly overprocessed. But that is a quality issue.
