Photo Rejected for Missing release

This photo was rejected because of a missing property release. Help me understand this, because all I see is the silhouette of some trees and a power pole. The second image I have included was from a  slightly different angle and was accepted. What's the difference between these two?

That's not a generic power pole. It's some kind of radio mask or similar, and belongs to someone. They need to provide a release.

It's a generic radio antenna. Nothing special.

IMO, both images are under exposed.  I would have rejected them for technical reasons.  But I'm not an Adobe employee.   Maybe the reviewer accidentally checked the wrong box.  😕

That was not the question asked, Nancy. But thanks for your feedback anyway.

We'll never know why Adobe rejected it as they don't provide feedback.

You might try adding an adjustment layer in Photoshop or Lightroom.  Also correct any other technical issues.  Rename file and submit it again.

Good luck!

I think the moderator just gave the wrong reason. There is no property release needed, except if the title indicates that the picture is showing an identifiable private or public property. I didn't check the first picture thoroughly, but there may be technical issues in the picture. My first guess, however, would be commercial appeal.

It's not a great picture with the powerlines passing through the image like that.

The first photo shows an antenna which of course belongs to someone or to a company. But also can be a military device. I agree with Nancy's opinion. But for your question it is better to drop it and put your energy on other images to come. Marc Riboud says: My best photo will always be the one I take tomorrow...
