Problems with meta titles and keywords in Deutsch

G'day,

I'm trying to upload images with meta (title&keywords) in German. But after uploading (by web or FTP), "German" letters are broken. For example ß instead of ÃŸ.

How can I solve it?

Check your CSV file. Do the special characters apear correctly?

The error looks like your file is UTF-8 coded, but the header is missing. It would help seeing the file.

Problem solved with csv. But it's not working if you trying to use metadata of image (in utf-8).

*Not solved. Sometimes umlauts are broken, sometimes not.

I've opened your asset with Notepad++. This one is UTF8.

Did this one work?

As a side note: forcing a change to ANSI coding gives this as result:

Do you have one that didn't work? Try opening it with Notepad++ (it's a free Notepad replacement with much more functionality).

the problem is, that some of data from the same csv is broken, some not. Can't find any logic, so I just stopped uploading in German.

That's also a solution.

Use CSV files to index your content at Adobe Stock

The help page has a paragraph on non-US contributors:

Excel notes: If you’re located outside the US and using Excel to create a CSV file, you need save your document as CSV UTF-8. If this isn’t an option in your version of Excel, you may need to open your CSV in Notepad and then save it as a CSV UTF-8.

It definately has to do with the UTF-8 code. Did you check your JPEG files if they contain the correct letters? Maybe the uploads are correct but the program creating the jpeg is incorrect.
