Quality issue : has it become harder to get photos accepted on Adobe Stock lately ?

Hi there,

I'm a contributor for about more than 2 years now and I have the feeling that "Quality issue" rejection is occuring more and more often to me over the past few months. But I don't think I'm being lazy about the quality of my submissions.

So is it just me (well, could be...) or has Adobe become more strict when challenging the submissions ?

(and just for the record, most of the rejections are accepted on other sites)

Thanks in advance for your aswers

Regards

Pascal

PS : some examples of rejections I don't understand

You are not alone. Many feel that Adobe's standards have indeed been raised and are experiencing more rejections for quality issues and similar content. And we hear it a lot: "My images are accepted elsewhere." But elsewhere is not Adobe. 🙂

Thanks Daniellei4510, you're right Adobe is not elsewhere, and as a non-pro photographer, I'm quite proud that some of my photos have been accetped here, and even more, some have been sold ! (really crazy when I think about it). It's just that it seems that it's becoming harder and harder to be accepted, and in the end, I feel that only pro photographers with top-notch cameras and a lot of time to take pictures (it's literally their job) will be able to sell on Adobe and amateurs like me taking pictures during vacaction time, trying to do good will be left on the side.

Weel, Adobe's rules, and like you say in your signature, I don't make the rules... I just have to deal with them. Even when there're kind of  depressing 🙂 🙂 🙂

0647 - focus is too soft

0645 - focus is soft, and white balance is too blue - the sails were probably white, but appear to be blue

Having assets accepted on other platforms is not a measure for the assets quality. I have very bad assets accepted on other platforms that got refused here, rightfully. They also should have gotten a refusal on the other platforms sites.
