Quality Issues: Feedback

Hello,

I am new here at Adobe stock photos . The most uploades photos are rejected. Can someone give me some advice what could be wrong with the photos? I use a Leica camera SL2 with a 50mm and 16-35mm. I edited very little in Lightroom. Mostly just edited the depths a bit. No color changes at all.

Were the buildings rejected for quality reasons? I'm not familiar with them, but they may require property releases.

Thank you for your help. Property rights are not violated. These are all public buildings in Germany.

When zoomed in, I saw a bit of chroma noise in the cloud images. I didn't see any quality problems in the building images, but perhaps the Moderator made a mistake when selecting the rejection reason code, because they probably require property releases.

You can't. If you can't determine any reason why an asset or assets were rejected for quality issues, especially if we can't be of assistance in pointing out errors here ourselves as volunteers, I can only suggest that you wait a few weeks and try submitting them again. If they are still rejected, I don't recommend submitting a third time.

As for these being public buildings, that is no guarantee that they don't require a property release. Someone or some entity is responsible for their upkeep. But if the lack of a property release that wasn't the reason given, then that shouldn't be a problem in this case.

Finally, you made the comment that you didn't do a lot of editing. Here is one, however, that I edited in Photoshop where I decreased the exposure, added some contract, brought out the highlights for more detail, and lowered the saturation of the grass.

Hello,

You actually need to do some editing - or rather - enhancement. This means making small changes - adjusting the exposure - meaning brightness, sometimes adjusting the white balance - colour temperature, the tone curve, removing dust spots, unwanted objects, maybe some cropping and so on. Uploading for stock, and making small adjustments is necessary. Straight out of the camera rarely works!

Even in the old days developing and printing photos from negatives required adjustments in the photographic enlarger.
