Quality issues rejection for photos

Good day all. Pleaes help me identify the quality issues, I want to improve my knowledge in order to try and avoid future rejections. Thank you in advance.

Cow image. Clean up this stuff. Don't make the buyer do it for you.

Hello,

I think for the cow photo you have to alter the white balance - it's too yellow - something like this:

I don't think the flies should be a problem - it is on a farm, not a studio!

The lizard:

Probably because of the compression artefacts

Plant:

White balance just a bit - make the leaves a tad greener  - reduce the tint  - magenta 

And the landscape:

Compression artefacts - same reason as the lizard photo.

Were these taken with a smartphone?

The changes are rather subtle but can make a difference.

Hi @Ricky336 thank you for the constructive feedback. I might ask stupid questions, but I will try not to ask them more than once...by saying "compression artefacts", how do I fix it or prevent it from happening?

I agree to the cow image being a bit too yellow, I will pay attention to colour balance in future.

Read this about compression artifacts.

Basically, the JEPEG file format compresses the pixels to save space. However, when the photo is enlarged it can begin to show as 'blocky' pixels.

It is more noticeable on smartphones. Sensor size makes a difference as well.

Lizzard was taken with a phone, the rest taken with a camera, I think all of them with my Nikon Z6ii

The lizard image is unfocused and there is visible chroma noise in the background.

Hi @Nancy OShea thank you. I will try to more specific and unique with the content I create. I am trying and learning as I go in order to meet, but more to exceed the quality standards. I appreciate the feedback.
