Taken with a smartphone right?
Unfortunately, smartphone pictures don't do so well for stock because when enlarged you can run into problems like this:
You get what is called 'halos' and artifacts! (Pointed out by the arrows.)

photo 1 is focus and underexposed shadows. The grass may have artifacts
photo 2 has chromatic aberation halos.

There are magenta areas in the clouds and a general loss of detail that indicates use of a small sensor camera. Had the image not been rejected for technical issues, you would also need to submit a model release for the woman in order to avoid an IP rejection.
