Hi, can someone tell me why these pictures don't meet the standards? I've attached two pictures for future.  For future reference 🙂

No details in the shadows perhaps, and blown out highlights. I assume you provided a model release as well.Screenshot 2024-02-08 at 11.33.53 PM.png

Hello,

Shadows are too dark - look at the histogram - you have clipping in the blacks!

I don't think you should darken your shadows, because there should be some detail in the shadows for a good print.

Otherwise, it will be just a solid black!

The first image has lens spots in the sky, an easy fix.
The second image is quite beautiful; you really nailed the symmetry. I don't see any obvious qualityIMG_0470.jpeg issues here, perhaps a bit of noise in the deepest shadows, and the woman is not tack sharp, but I had to zoom in quite far to detect that.

I added a release so that couldn't be it. I allways try to correct all highlights and shadows starting with the auto setting in Lightroom. After that I useally darken my shadows and add a bit more light as my default style. But I will change it and upload it again. See what happens. Thanks for your feedback Daniell

When it comes to style, I'd say save your personal style for your personal work, not stock. If your images get sent to a moderator who automatically checks histograms first thing, you'll get a rejection.

Missing releases would be an additional issue. Generally you get a strike on quality, then, after fixing that, you get a different error. As long as we do not have confirmation, we check with  all possible errors.

That may be the case, but if the refusal is quality issuse, we should look into qualitiy issues, too.
