Can you please tell me what's wrong with these images? Why aren't they good enough for adobe stock?

Your photos seem to be severely overprocessed with unnatural colour saturation and chromatic aberration.  Most are also suffering from exposure issues.

Looking at Möven auf Buhne, the seagulls are blown out with no details, and the ocean is extremely noisy and the water colour does not seem natural.

Take a look at all of your photos at 100% - 200% magnification and the issues become a lot clearer.  You'll see the noise, chromatic aberration (colour fringing), and lack of focus.

For your dog on the beach photo, exposure issues again (beach overexposed and blown out and underexposure of the dog.)  The grass in front of the dog is also very distracting.  It would have been better if you moved and recomposed your shot.

With regards to the cat photo, I think it is cropped too close (cutting off its ears) and uneven exposure on the eyes.  The shadows should be lightened to see both eyes.  The fur around the cat's face also has colour fringing probably from overprocessing and too much colour saturation.

Adobe customers are looking for natural coloured photos, which are minimally processed.  Read through some of these links to get a better idea of what works for Adobe Stock customers.

Adobe Stock customers expect the highest visual and technical quality for use in commercial projects. i.e brochures, posters, print & digital ads, product packaging, billboards, videos & movies, merchandise, etc...

Better luck with your next submission. 🙂

Der Hund is unterbelichtet.

  • Mau.jpg:
