Well, there is a lot of noise in the background and that is a technical defect.

Lovely photo and composition. I can only guess that there's noise in the sky and clouds.

Technical requirements

  • Submit images in JPEG format.
  • Use color space sRGB
  • Minimum image resolution: 4 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum image resolution: 100 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum file size: 45 MB (megabytes)
  • No watermarks or timestamps
  • Do not upsample your files; submit the maximum file size that your camera can produce.

This file is nice, but is less than 3 MP.

@Test Screen Name You won't be able to upload a 3Mpixel picture, so this is probably a preview of the uploaded one...

Those are checked during upload:

  • Submit images in JPEG format. It's not possible to upload TIFF or PSD or something different.
  • Use color space sRGB Colour space is not checked!
  • Minimum image resolution: 4 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum image resolution: 100 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum file size: 45 MB (megabytes)
  • No watermarks or timestamps Obviously watermarks and timestamps are not easy to check automatically.
  • Do not upsample your files; submit the maximum file size that your camera can produce. Obviously upscales are difficult to detect automatically but quality issues will disqualify images.
