What happened to my rejected files if I close my account? I definitely want to close my account.
Why do they preserve the files? Are they full resolutions files?
And if they keep them, what is the use of those rejected images if I close my account?
If they were rejected, they don't exist anymore.
Those previews are just a reminder to you of what you submitted. That's all.
They keep a tiny thumbnail which is not useful or saleable.

They were rejected but I can see them online. So they still have them, no?
Is this a small version of what we submitted? or high resolution? How can we be sure?

Ok thank you. but honestly, the clause 9.2 Adobe Contributor Stock doesn't mean anything to me.
I decided to close my account with Adobe Stock Contributor.
For lots of reasons. Please read this;
Last May, I submitted 50 images. It was going to take 8 weeks to review them. It took 16 weeks; 4 MONTHS.
Do you think it is reasonable? not for me!
Why do they tell me that photos, like the Stortorget Square in Stockholm, Sweden, "appear to be protected my intellectual property IP laws" when I can see tons of Stortorget Square images (the same place, the same buildings, almost the same point of view) on Adobe Stock images? We can even see names of stores in the Adobe images!!!!
Protected by IP laws, they say?
I submitted images of Zaanse Schans, Netherlands, a village of old houses and windmills.
Why to they ask for a "property release" ? We can see on Adobe site tons of houses for Zaanse Schans.
Do they really think at Adobe, that photographers went around all those houses and asked each of the owner a "property release" ? Do they think that and that i'm stupid?
No there is no quality standards issues on my photos, by the way.
I won't tell about the over-saturated images on Adobe Stock. They ask to not submit over-saturated images, but Adobe id full of over-saturated images?!!!
I sent many emails; none of them answered my questions accurately and precisely. It was always vague, confuse and irrelevanté.
Another example of some "weird things" they ask is having a "property release" of 3 goats in a field with not even one building around. Are they serious? Property release on goats? ShutterStock immediately accepted it!
I can continue with those frustrations but its endless...
But good news! I submitted the same 50 images at ShutterStock and you know what? They accepted them all.
Even the 3 goats in a field.
And I got an answer that my images were accepted after only 3 days. 3 days! Not 4 MONTHS!!!
Of course, Shutter Stock did accept all my images. But when I send them a message, they to respond with accurate
informations, very precise and very helpfull. I never got this customer service at Adobe. Never.
Few weeks ago , I received an-email from Adobe. They told they just founded my email and my email was in their "spams" since 3 months. 3 months!!! The funny thing about all this is, instead of answering my "lost" email" , they invited me to write back again if I needed any help?
What? They found my email 3 months later and I have to write back If I need more support? When all the questions
were already in the 'lost" email they found in their "spams". Isn't that ridicilous or not?
To be honest, Adobe Stock sucks!
Dont, worry! They all know about this. I sent them an email, telling them all my frustrations and what I thing is the worst stock company ever.
Thanks for your help.

Whatever.... It goes without saying that you can't sell pictures of MY HOUSE without MY WRITTEN PERMISSION. And I can't sell pictures of your house without your written permission. If either of us do that, a lawsuit will award penalties to whomever was violated. That's how the laws work everywhere.
As unpaid forum volunteers and product users, there's nothing we can do about the review process. That's completely out of our hands. If Adobe's acceptance standards are too tough for you, then try submitting to other services. They may accept your work, and it might even sell, but at lower royalty fees than you would receive from Adobe Stock. That's the trade-off.
Goodbye & good luck with your future endeavors.

I do agree with you. You can't sell a photo of a house without permission.
But don't me that all photographers around the world who visited Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Zaanse Schans etc etc got a property release from all the owners! Really?? You know they can't do it.
And asking a property release for a 3 goats in a field??? LOL
As I said, you probably have rules, as other stock servers, but the customer service at Aadobe sucks!
And I can send you tons of emails I received from people who don't even answer your questions.
Waiting 4 months to review 50 images.!!! wow!! this is a good service for you?
Good luck with the worst stock site ever!!!

You can't assume that Stock Contributors don't submit signed release forms. You have no way of knowing.
It's also possible that what you're seeing on Stock is Editorial Use Only.
Q: What does Editorial Use Only mean in Adobe Stock?
============
A: Assets designated for “Editorial use only” are marked “Editorial only” when you hover over them in the search results and under the “Restriction” section in the image information. You may not use these assets for commercial purposes, such as in advertisements or on product packaging. Other restrictions may also apply.
