Rejections for Quality Issues

Community Beginner ,
Jul 21, 2023 Jul 21, 2023

Team,

I have had multiple rejections for quality issues. I have attached my images. I am new to Adobe Stock. Can someone please help me with feedback/reason(s) for these rejections?

Thank you!

Regards, Dattatreya

Photo 1(CopperSmith) and photo 2 (YellowedBrowed) are too dark and need sharpening.

Coppersmith:

as @RALPH_L says, you should get the birds not as dark. You have reworked the background and introduced colour banding. The space between the beaks is something you've forgotten.

Sharpness is indeed not great. But I think with some tweaking, you can resubmit.

YellowBrowed...: the picture is underexposed, you have noise in the background, you have a light outline around the bird and have some editing left-overs:

The branch on which the bird sits is badly cut-out.

Check all your cut-out work, the tail also shows some weaknesses.

BlueBirded...: The white balance is not correct, the background shows noise. You need more contrast. The branch shows chromatic aberration and I would crop out some part of the branch, especially to the right.

YellowThroated...: White balance, the bird is not exactly sharp and you made errors with the cut-out (background masking).

Flame…: Noise, errors in the cut-out mask. I also think that the branch needs partially editing (dodge and burn).

You're welcome. After a rework, I'm convinced that they will pass. The majority of the flaws can be fixed with minimal effort. It's just a question of investing the time. The pictures are great and nice to look at.

For the noise reduction, you could have a look into this: High ISO noise reduction

Hello,

I have a different opinion from what has been mentioned.

I think you could tweak the white balance in the photos, they are a bit too yellow, and increase the exposure a tad, and one problem I think is the noise in the background, so maybe some more noise reduction there.
