Seeking Feedback on Rejections for "Quality Issues"

New Here ,
Oct 09, 2025 Oct 09, 2025

Hello everyone,

I am a new contributor and I'm trying to learn and improve my photography for Adobe Stock. Many of my recent photos have been rejected with the reason "Quality Issues".

I'm not always sure what the specific problem is. It could be soft focus, noise, or lighting, but I would be very grateful for feedback from more experienced contributors.

Could you please take a look at these 10 examples and help me understand the main reason for their rejection? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

First, these are not photographs, they are AI, and I assume you tagged them as such. A couple of these assets still have a watermark in the bottom right corner, which need to be removed. The default square format of AI should be avoided, as it leaves the buyer with no room to crop or add copy if desired.

In addition to @daniellei4510 advice, zoom in to at least 100% on each image and inspect every inch of the image carefully. If there are drawing errors that you are unable to correct using editing software, discard the asset.

Hello Jill_C,

Thank you for your valuable input. The advice to zoom to 100% and inspect every inch of the image is a game-changer for me. I understand the quality standard much better now.

I appreciate the help from both you and @daniellei4510.

A few words of advice for new AI contributors:

1) Buy a paid member plan that gives you full ownership rights and use Stealth Mode to hide your AI prompts and output from public view. Otherwise, your work will be subject to use by anyone who wants it. This could come back to bite you later.

2) AI is notorious for making mistakes. Carefully check AI output for accuracy and defects. Fix all defects if you can, or discard & start over.

3) You're competing with millions & millions of other AI assets in Stock.  Strikes for "similar content" are common. Check your work against current inventory before you submit.  Ensure that your work is distinctive and as good or better than what Stock is selling.

4) Read your Contributor User Guide carefully. It contains a lot of important information that you need to know.

Good luck.
