The attached images are AI generated and upscaled to 300dpi as a jpg. It was rejected for quality issues. I'd like to learn how to improve my images and/or choose better ones to submit. I appreciate your feedback.

The first image needs some highlights and the second is not focused.

Thank you for the feedback. It's helpful to know exactly what some of the issues are so I better judge what is worthy of submitting

Quality means a lot more than just image resolution. The first image is too dark overall. I agree with @RALPH_L that the second image is blurry. The fence, where it vanishes on the right in the middle distance is just a mess of pixels...

300dpi is a nonsense parameter. This is irrelevant to say here, as it is not connected to your refusal, but as you mention it… The only image parameter that counts is the image size in pixels. That needs to be 4 mega pixels to be able to upload.

Now to your pictures:

The second is simply missing details.

(here seen at 100%. It does not look natural).

Your first: artefacts like this disqualify your assets (seen at 100%):

Thanks so much for taking the time to enlarge those. I can clearly see what the issues are that you pointed out.

As for the 300dpi, I start with that to see what MP size I'm at with regard to the min and max required. These are far above the 4MP minimum but under the max.

You can't upload, if the images are having the wrong size in pixels. The Mega Pixels unit comes from caneras. Most cameras today have between 20 and 50 mega pixels.

Yes, I'm aware that you can't upload if under 4MP.

It's good to know the average that camera photos produce.

And of course, no amount of upscaling will fix the issues pointed out here with these AI images.

No, upscaling does not fix problems in the assets. They need to be fixed before or after the upscale. A scaled image needs to look like if it is presented in the native resolution.
