My Adobe Contributor account was unexpectedly disabled without any apparent reason. I have thoroughly reviewed their guidelines and am confident that I have not violated any of them. On the day my account was disabled, I had to received my funds (I believe it was the 10th business day), which I was due to receive. Despite having sent an email to address this issue, I have yet to receive a response. I am seeking advice on how to proceed in order to have my account reinstated and to successfully withdraw the funds owed to me.
You are not addressing Adobe here but contributors like yourself, and we can do nothing to be of assistance. Use the "Contact us" link to ask for details and wait for a response, which you appear to have done. It will most likely be awhile to hear from them outside of a possible generic email notifying you that your email has been received. Keep an eye on your junk mail if necessary. Do not attempt to contact Adobe repeatedly, as doing so only slows down Adobe's investigation.

Hello everyone,
A few days ago, something very strange happened with my Adobe Stock contributor account. In a single day, I had around 150 sales , which I found very suspicious since normally my sales never exceeded 5 per day.
A few days later, I received an email from Adobe informing me that my account was deactivated for "suspicious activity." I really don't understand why, because I have always tried to follow the submission guidelines.
I'd like to know if anyone here has experienced something similar or if you have any advice on how I can resolve this situation with Adobe. It's very frustrating to lose my account in this way, especially since I truly enjoy contributing to the platform.
Any help or guidance would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

I have no idea what is going on with your case. But I run thin on sympathy when I read either weird or incomplete stories. How many sales in one day exactly? If this was me in your shoes, I'd know exactly how many assets were sold in that day. More important when your average is 5, that classifies as very suspicious, and obvious cause for deactivation. I'm wondering, why do you think it's necessary to include in your question "I have always tried to follow the submission guidelines"? When have you not tried? Is there something you are not sharing?
The message you shared says check your email, have you gotten any emails? If so why are you not sharing that message or say you have not receive anything... Look I'm not trying to add to your problem... if in fact you have no clue why the sudden spike in sales.
Unfortunately there's nothing anyone in this community can help you with, other than say to continue trying to contact Adobe support.
Take the time I'm taking to reply in this manner, as advice to improve your story when you communicate it to anyone at Adobe, and avoid leaving gaps out, understanding you need to give a lot more context to your story... bc right now to me something seems off, and I'm seeing too many of inconsistent claims in this community that make me suspicious. I am a believer Adobe needs to improve their selection process system, but the idea that Adobe is arbitrarily suspending accounts is nothing short of absurd.
If there's NOTHING you have done or are aware regarding the 150 sales in one day, let the investagation play out, and I mean give it weeks and not just a few days, just keep sending emails every week for your own due diligence and records.
To all other contributors reading this... What is going on with a swarm of people suddenly claiming to have their accounts deactivated? I'd like to hear your thoughts, includding if you think I'm nuts could be suffering from conspiranoia thinking all these posts are from people who did something wrong, got booted out and now come to create false narratives?

I get the idea that there are a lot of contributors. Adobe will get a a lot email. The outsource the work that has to be done to cheap labour countries. Probally those people must do a certain amount of work. Then get in a robot mode to do as much they can. Leaving out indivual guidance of people. Then people fall in to procedures. So they did do there job well. But individual people the communication is not there. There a people who contributed multiple years. You would expect some help.
Unfortunaly the moderator here merged different conversations together. Making it a mess. Maybe it is an option that you make your own thread. Because your text make a lot of sense. Instead of getting the copy paste texts from the moderators. I like to an adult conversation

Your only option is to use the "Contact us" link to acknowledge you are aware that your account has been disabled and to ask for further details. Then wait. Attempting further contact can delay Adobe's investigation.

Hello. About two months ago, my account was blocked due to AI-related rules. However, Adobe continues to update my portfolio. I receive emails saying that some of my images have been removed.
A few days ago, I also received the following email:
"Dear Tekin,
Congratulations!
Based on your success in 2024, we are happy to give you a free 12-month Creative Cloud bonus code that you can use for a one-year All-Apps Plan or a single Creative Cloud app of your choice.
Depending on your number of downloads in 2024, you will receive a 12-month All-Apps plan or a 12-month subscription to a single app (Adobe Creative Cloud Photography 20GB, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or After Effects). For information about the program, including eligibility criteria, please see our Copyright Details page.
To redeem your code and see which one you qualify for, log in to your contributor account, look for the blue banner, and follow the prompts to select your free Creative Cloud Code."
Of course, I can't use this gift right now because I can't access my account.
During this two month period, I have notified Adobe 3 times through the "Contact Us" link on my page.
I have also filled out a dispute form.
I know that's all that needs to be done here.
Question: Since I am getting updates on my portfolio and can receive a reward email, can I have any hope that my account will be unblocked? Since I am getting these emails, it occurred to me that my account could be unlocked once the update is complete...
Thank you for your answers.

The email regarding the Contributor Bonus was resent automatically to all Contributors who qualified because some of them had not redeemed their bonus code yet. It doesn't necessarily mean that your account is still active. However, if you have recently received notice that some duplicate assets have been removed from your portfolio, that probably indicates that your account is still viable. If your account had been permanently suspended, all if the assets would have been deleted from Adobe's database.

Hi @tekinozturk,
Just to add. Except you are otherwise informed that your account is close, it's just suspended. Once the processing is completed or the suspension time expires (if one was added) Adobe will either reactivate your account or inform you otherwise.
Best wishes
Jacquelin

I also have a question about this topic: what could be the maximum period, 3 months, 5 months, 1 year?

Hello, I received the following response on April 22 in response to the reminder email I sent on April 21. "Hello Tekin,
Thank you for contacting us.
We received your Appeal form. We kindly ask for your patience while we investigate. Your case number is 00351524.
Please do not submit further (duplicate) submissions as this may slow down the processing of your inquiry.
Regards,
Adobe Contributor Relations
"
When do you think I should send a new reminder email? My account has been closed for 3 months... Should I wait a little longer to send a new email?
thanks..

Continue waiting. Obviously, the know of your situation, you have a case number, and they have explicitly told you not to send further inquiries. Each time you do, it's possible a new ticket is created and things become confusing on their end, which slows down the process. We have heard of contributors waiting longer than 3 months to have their issue investigated.

Thank you. I will continue to wait. I hope one day my account will be opened and I can send you that nice message from here.

I'm bothering you again. Will we be notified if the account is decided to be closed completely after the account review? Will my application definitely get a positive or negative result? Or will it continue like this? Waiting is really starting to get annoying.

We don't have the answers to any of these questions unless there is someone here who has gone through a similar experience who might be able to do so.

Hello, it's been almost five months since my account was blocked. I still haven't heard anything. The last email I received three months ago stated that the investigation was ongoing. However, there are still no results, positive or negative. Emailing participants and informing them of the case shouldn't be this difficult. I check my emails daily, hoping for an email from Adobe. This is starting to wear me out, as this is an account I've been working on for over 10 years. Is there another way you can suggest? Thanks...

If I were you, I'd move on. 5 months is too long to be held hostage by something this trivial.
There are plenty of other microstock services that you can submit content to: Getty, Alamy, iStock, Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Unsplash, Pixabay, and more...
Best of luck.

I don't think it would be too difficult for a company like Adobe to provide contributors with feedback on their cases via email. Shouldn't they at least keep the contributor informed of the situation?
Copy link to clipboard

Yes, it would be nice if they would do that, but they don't. So, unfortunately, you are left with no choice other than to place your stock images with other agencies.

As adobe i would not be happy with this remark. Problems are there to be solved. Of course you never should place your photos on one site. There are people who have big portofolios. This causes the company a lot of money. So it would be logical that you try to solve those problems
unfortunately a moderator merged all different threads in one, making it mess to individual conversations with people. No new reader is going to read all the text here.
