Update on Adobe Stock Image Review

Explorer ,
Aug 15, 2024 Aug 15, 2024

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick update on my latest batch of submissions to Adobe Stock. Out of 500 89 images reviewed , unfortunately, most were rejected due to quality issues. I've been using the Upscale app to enhance my images, scaling them 4x to meet the quality standards. However, this approach might not be cutting it for Adobe's requirements.

I’m considering trying 5x or 6x upscaling, but the file size skyrockets to over 25MB per image. Given the slow internet in my area, this is a bit of a challenge. If anyone has suggestions for better upscaling tools or tips on how to maintain quality without inflating file sizes, I’d love to hear them!

Thanks for the support as I navigate this process.

Could you post a couple of the rejections? Upscaling in and of itself is not necessarily the reason for rejections. If there are issues in the original assets, upscaling will indeed magnify them, but "quality issues" encompass many other issues, even before upscaling is even taken into consideration.

There is much more to image quality than just pixel count. You seem to be assuming that meeting the minimum file size means that your images are of sufficient quality. You also need to look for drawing errors, sharpness, artifacts, noise, etc.  Upload a couple of your rejects here for more feedback from the community members.

How do you know that the rejection is based on the upscaling?
