Yes, you can re-submit with different titles and keywords. Stay on topic, but try to put what you believe to be the most unique keyword(s) at the top. I always put Adobe's suggested keywords at the bottom of the list. As far as the similar content issue is concerned, there often times seems to be no logic to why some assets receive this refusal and others do not. But, again, it may be related to an overabundance of the same keywords appearing in the database. I suppose it's possible as well that

Rejected for quality or similar content? Or other. Knowing would help us.

A quick search shows nearly 1,700,000 results of pumpkins icons and vectors, so a similar content rejection tracks. There are quite a few with similar expressions as well. A tad fewer results for black and skulls. You might try those again, but keywords that are as unique as possible. The general consensus is that similar keywords especially are being considered first by a bot, rather than the actual images.

Okay, I'll try that, and take a look at the files I attached. Can you give me some feedback? Is everything okay with them? I'd really appreciate it!

Halloween is over. Put these on the back burner until next summer.

Read the vector requirements again, especially about icon sheets & spacing between icons.

Hope that helps.

The "similar" rejection is a nasty one, as we do not exactly know what triggers that. It may simply be the meta data, which is probable, as Halloween should be a very saturated theme.

Let's take your pumpkin image. There's noting inherently wrong with it (save for maybe the teeth not being connected to the pumpkin), but here is just one example among hundreds or even thousands when it comes to your competition. As a buyer (which I'm not, but let's pretend), which one gives me the most value? And as I peruse all the available options, how likely is yours (considering the number of such vectors available) to show up within the first 100 pages of results (i.e, 10,000 pumpkin images). That's where the similar content issue comes in. Meanwhile, as I'm writing this, @Nancy OShea's email just came up noting that Halloween is over and try resubmitting next summer (not next fall...next summer). Three to four months in advance of any holiday should be given consideration when submitting assets.

As for the skull assets, I personally like these myself and nothing stands out to me as having quality issues. But I'm not a moderator, and moderators have the last say in these matters.

I also like the skull variations.  Skulls have more uses than just Halloween.

Thank you. Do you think if I re-upload the skull and change the keywords and title of the illustration, they will accept it? And it's still unclear why they didn't accept the illustration with the snowboarder. I had previously uploaded three other illustrations of people and there were no problems with them. Yes, the style is similar, but that shouldn't be a problem since the characters are completely different... The reason is the same... Maybe if I add some kind of backdrop in the form of a ski court or just a snowy scene? I apologize if I'm taking up your time by asking so many questions...

I suppose it's possible as well that if certain keywords are often used, but also often used in searches, maybe those assets make it through as well. Just a theory. We simply don't know. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've had unique assets rejected as similar content and other assets accepted despite being certain they couldn't possibly avoid a similar content refusal. If I like an assets, I submit it, and cross my fingers.

It's impossible to predict whether an image will make it past the Moderators. All you can do is submit your best, most unique work and hope for the best.

Nobody here knows exactly how the similar assets rejection works, we can only speculate. We think that the tool they use is flawed, Adobe is convinced that the tool is working well. Adobe has the insight, and may be they are accepting a few "colaterals" and are catching massive spamming with it. There were accounts having submitted hundreds, if not thousands of similiar assets.

But even the most experienced contributors get a huge number of "similar" refusals. Quality issues are by far easier to check.
