The photo approvals take more than 4 weeks, the Adobe performance becomes ridiculously bad. The money transfer takes also more than a week, I am still waiting for it.
Summay: very poor performance of Adobe!!! That does not make fun 😞
Fotolia was much much better 😞
Fotolia was also much, much smaller.
Adobe Stock has 100 times more customers, inventory and contributors than Fotolia had. They get thousands of submissions per week and review times depend on how many other assets were ahead of yours in the wait queue. You must wait your turn the same as everyone. While you wait, work on other projects.
If you are unhappy, you can leave. I don't mean that in a bad way. Adobe managed in the last months about 100,000,000 assets. Money transfers take up to 10 business days. That is well documented.
Fotolia was indeed smaller.
Adobe releases payments reliably and predictably on work day 10; this doesn't seem "ridiculously bad". Approvals that take more than 4 weeks are entirely due to the huge influx of Generative AI assets, and Adobe has made numerous changes that have actually improved review time. - Money transfers vary by bank & region. 10-15 business days is customary for the banking industry.
By @Nancy OShea
It's not the transfer, it's the checking and processing that takes time.
International money transfers take time (PayPal is here much more effective and less costly). In Europe, standard transfers (of up to 100,000€) have to be executed in 2 business days. But that's the transfer only. That's not me checking if the recipient I pay really does have a right to get that money (invoice checking).
I even have the possibility that a money transfer is immediately. I hit the send button, and on the other side, the money arrived and is credited. Faster than e-mail.
Adobe takes up to 10 days to check the validity of the request. Sometimes that is done in 4 days or less.
