Can I use or purchase a logo from Adobe stock and use it as my personal brand for merchandising and selling
1 Correct answer
I'm sorry to say this but you're going about this the wrong way. Your company logo is your unique BRAND identity. It should be 100% yours alone. You never see other companies using Coke's or MacDonald's logos do you? And you never will. They are fiercely protective of their logos as well they should be.
Hire a designer to create a suitable logo for your business. The designer may use Stock assets for parts of it. But the final artwork should be original. Does that makes sense?

What do you mean by "personal brand" exactly? You cannot trademark a stock image, because you aren't the only person who can buy it. You can use it in advertising and social media (check the attribution rules).

@Osamah24353042ojry , my interpretation of the licensing (please note I am neither a lawyer nor an Adobe employee) is that you may purchase an Extended License for assets in Adobe Stock and use them for merchandising. Please see this excerpt from License Information and Terms.
With an Extended license, you may:
- Use the asset with all the rights granted in the Standard license.
- Reproduce the asset beyond the 500,000 copy/viewer restriction.
- Create merchandise or products for resale or distribution where the main value of the product is associated with the asset itself, such as a coffee mug or t-shirt.
With an Extended license, you may not:
- Distribute the stand-alone file.
You should also note that your Extended License would not be exclusive so there is nothing stopping anyone else from downloading the same asset and also using it for merchandising.

Crystal clear Reed,
thank you for your reply and clarification, it seems that you can use the logo indeed for merchandising through the extended license but you cant claim the full ownership of that design.

thanks nancy for your reply, I have fully understood your point.
the idea is that I'm planning to start a clothing and accessories business that covers the need of every athlete, I was checking the Adobe stock designs and honestly, there were few logos that really got my attention, so I thought if it's possible to get the full Owner's rights of any logo or design even if it will cost a little bit more than the extending license.
but now it's clear to me that it's possible to use or merchandise any given design through the extending license but you still do not have the full right to claim that logo as if it's your own.

This makes the use of a design from Adobe stock nonsense. If you were successful, all Chinese copy-cats would buy the design and create their own line, building on your success. And you would not be able to do anything against it. Hire a designer, that will cost you something, and create your own brand that is your exclusive. Protect it by applying a trademark for it and go to work. That is the way to success.
