cancelling stock trial

New Here ,
Oct 26, 2024 Oct 26, 2024

HI,

I cannot see an open discussion for this-

I followed the free trial steps for adobe stock and then it charged me regardless.

I cancelled immediately.

Please confirm I am being refunded and will not be charged anything at all for this, since this was supposed to be a free trial.

Thank you.

Hi @Ozymandias2024, it looks like you subscribed to a non-trial plan, which is why there was a charge on your account. However, since it was canceled within the first 14 days, you’ll receive a refund.

Check your Adobe account page to confirm whether your Adobe Stock subscription is active or cancelled.

The free trial can be taken only once. So it may be that you had a free trial before.

You also gotb an e-mail, when you took the plan, with the terms and conditions, and you got an e-mail when you cancelled, stating the refund.  A refund is due when cancelleing in the first 14 days.

Please check at https://account.adobe.com/plans that your plan is cancelled.

And just to say, the refund is automatic and does not need to be claimed. However it may take several business days for the account to be credited.

I just cancelled my Adobe Stock 14 days after signing up and was told the plan I had subscribed to was not eligable for the trial then promptly charged $164. I only subscribed to tempt my workplace to get a subscription, then downloaded two images for examples.

I am a long-time Adobe supporter, but that experience was awful. Adobe has got to make their Stock free trial easier to navigate because I feel as though I've been fleeced.

If you cancelled within 14 days of subscribing to the Free 30-day Trial Subscription there should be no cancellation fee. You should have received an Email confirmation when you started the trial, proving the date that you subscribed. If you have that proof, use the chat icon in this page, and type "agent" in the chat box to reach a real live person
