Downloaded vector file appears to be corrupt and wont to convert to svg

This vectory file wont convert to svg. I do not use AI at the moment and am not sure it it would be repairable if even if opened therewith. Please kindly assist.

You need to open that file with the latest version of Adobe Illustrator. I'm not sure what software you used, but if it is not Ai, you are probably out of luck.
