Hello,
I tried to sign up for a free trial, but Adobe wouldn't accept my Card.
I am using a virtual card, could that be the reason why they did not accept it?
Could that be the reason, that I do not have enough money on my account and they charge some money in order to verify if the card is legit?

If they charge, they charge normally $1 and refund or cancel immediately. Any card should be good, however, you need to be in a country, where you can take a subscription and the country of your card needs to correspond to your country.

I suppose that's possible; many transactions verify that it's a valid card before allowing you to proceed. It's also possible that Adobe does not accept virtual cards for recurring monthly subscription payments. I did find an old post here in the Forums to that effect, but couldn't find anything more recent:

My virtual card is a standard credit card, but is not delivered as a physical plastic. I have several subscriptions with that card.
