Is it a real person?

Hello.

I created the image I added to the topic from the Leonardo.AI site with the request "A wizard, illustration, high quality". But this man seems like a familiar person to me, like a famous actor.

I sent this picture to ChatGPT and asked if the person in the picture was a real person, ChatGPT replied:

"This AI-generated wizard illustration may look like a familiar celebrity, but such images are generally not intended to depict a specific person. The person in the image is not a real person, but an AI-generated character. However, some of his features may seem familiar because the AI, "It uses general human characteristics that it learns from large data sets, so it can be a mix of characteristics from many different people."

I wasn't fully convinced, so I scanned the image with Google Images, but it didn't find anything either.

I still think this could be a real person. Do you think so? Did you recognize this man?Default_A_wizard_illustration_high_quality_2.jpg

If I'm right, this is a pretty dangerous thing for my contributor account: What would you recommend to avoid such situations?

Thank you.

My first impression was that it was a modern day Gandolf. In some images after a Google search, he even wears a brimmed hat similar to this one, but more ragged. I'd avoid it myself. I once had an image pop up that had a stricking resemblance to Demi Moore. Even though a couple of friends couldn't see the similarity, I didn't submit it. It's not worth the risk.

As long as you tick the checkbox "People and Property are fictional", you'll be okay. If the Moderator thinks it bears too strong of a resemblance to a real person, they'll reject it based on lack of model release.

@Jill_C may be right. As long as you check the right box and are careful about your titles and keywords, you will probably be OIK. In the end, however, you have two different answers from two different people, so there's that. 🙂 I mean, there may be a resemblance, but in the end, we all have our dopplegangers. I once created an image that was, quite literally, the sptting image of a good friend of mine, the only difference being that the AI version was a blond. My friend like it and she's a blond now.
