I was browsing Adobe and I want to use this font for a Photoshop project:
But the descritpion doesn't tell me that it is a font file that I can add to my Photoshop library, like a .ttf file. The description refers the file types to be: AI/EPS and JPEG. Also the image calls it a "Font Effect" - not explicitly a font.
So the clues to are telling this is not exactly a downloadable font - would I be correct in that assumption? If this is something better used in Illustrator or some other Adobe product that wouldn't work for me, I'm only skilled in Photoshop. I do not want to waste $80, thanks!.

Hey, @Jason W_. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move this post to Stock Discussions. This Stock asset downloads an EPS file with effects that can be edited in Illustrator and used in Photoshop as a smart object.
This asset uses two fonts: North-Roksy (for the main design) and Geometric Slab 703 (for other infographic texts), which you'll need.
I hope this helps. Thanks!

It's a font effect, not a font. If the asset is correctly done, you will be able to edit this, but you will need to open this in Illustrator to modify the text. As the fonts are missing on @Sameer K 's screenshot, they are probably not Adobe fonts. So if the font is what you're looking for, you will be disapointed.
The effect itself does not look to be overly complicated, so when you find a similar font in the Adobe fonts, I suggest you redo it. That will spare you some headaches.
