What specific reason was givn for rejection in each case?

The reason is that it contains one or more technical issue.

The top one has blown out sky and highlights as well as chromatic aberration. The bottom one also has blown highlights, a leaning horizon and seems to lack focus - though it's hard to tell without zooming in...

Apart from obvious technical problems, the photos lack much wow factor.  A good stock photographer shoots images that people want to buy.
