I am a freelance designer working as a contractor for a client.
Am I allowed to use images downloaded with a 'standard license' in my designs for the client's website? I am the one who owns the license to the image(s) vs. the client I am working for.
I checked the terms & conditions, yet the answer to my question remains unclear 🙂

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Well, you need the asset for your client, so your client will own the licence. But still, it depends on how your contract with your client is, if they get the full access to the image or only the modified asset as needed for the website. You can't use the same licence for a different customer or for yourself.

(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).
