Installed fonts not appearing in Substance 3D Designer

I am trying to get a custom font into Substance 3D Painter so I launch Designer to create a custom one. However, when I look for the font in the font dropdown it isn't there. Any help?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Where did you get the font and what type of font is it. As an example, fonts downloaded from Adobe Fonts are not in a standard system format and therefore do not appear in the Substance Designer fonts node.

Indeed, in the case of fonts procured from Adobe Fonts, Dave is correct and this has been discussed in this thread.
