put textures in a .fbx file

hello

Is it possible to place textures, rendered from outputs, inside a .fbx file in Substance Designer?

to make it easier to open them in unreal.

I've already tried .sbsar and found it very heavy, my textures have many nodes.

thanks

Hello @Abilio5EC9,

Thanks for the message.

Just to be clear, a high number of nodes doesn't necessarily equal a heavier SBSAR to compute. It will mostly depends on the nodes and the general optimization. You can check the Graph optimization section of this page if you're curious to learn more on the subject.

If you want to embed your textures inside a .FBX it's unfortunately not possible with Substance 3D Designer. You'll have to do the extra step inside another software.

hello

like I said :
my .sbsar are immensely heavy on Unreal Engine.
any change in parameters the soft stops for minutes.

Is it possible to resolve this? as ?

another question :
as for embedding textures from Substance Designer outputs into .fbx files.

Is there an external program in which I can do this?
preferably in batches?

automatically associating the texture with fbx by file name?

thanks
