Thank you!

In Substance Designer graph properties > Attributes, set the physical size.

Then in Substance Painter set UV transform to 'Physical Size' when you use the material.

Thanks Dave for the response. But I can't find a way to see it represented. In essence, designer, the only thing I see to set physical size is what is seen in the screenshot but nothing happens when I change it.

ok, thanks Dave. I'm not looking to use a sbsar or Substance Painter either. But I do need the material to represent 30x30 cm of the real world. So in this sense substance designer is lacking in options. Substance Designer is not only made for exporting sbsar files. Thanks for the clarification and your time!

How will you use the material?

In itself a procedural material is just a tile with a pixel size and multiple channels. It is the attribute that sets what physically dimension  that tile represents.

Understanding your workflow may help with options.
