struggling with an unreal engine workflow

Hi very new to substance design, but very proud to create this material from scratch. I saw a tutorial and he exported this one output, I tested it and it worked well. however on the material i made it's pretty much invisible, it looks like it shouldn't be. I am making decals, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @hectorthedog,

First of all, I advise you to try your Decal on an asset in your Unreal Engine scene, I think it's more revealing than the preview from the shader editing.

With that being said, the opacity should be the map setting up the visibility of your Decal. Therefore, can you show us the Alpha you merged to the base color?

Let us know,

Emm, that may be the issue. I never had the alpha into a base colour. I thought the base colour would fill the whole background, but I can see that was not correct.

It's probably not showing because the alpha has no base colour?

Thanks
