Any idea on how to acheive a similar effect?. I have been trying this for a long time but couldn't get a perfect trim effect like this. the edges seem to stretch too badly.

Hello @Vishal5ED2,

The Slope Blur node is a common tool to erode the edges of rocks and bricks. There are other ways which require a bit more work.

A clean normal map goes a long way to achieving this. Can you please share some screenshots or the Substance 3D file (SBS) of your tentative? This will help us understand the stretching you mentioned, and let us provide helpful guidance.

Best regards.

I actually don't have the file right now I deleted it since it didn't work out well. The procedure was ,I made some alphas that could be blended with a beveled tile generator node and connected into the height output. i know this is'nt quite enough to get such a result. I am quite new to designer. just curious to know whether i could get this result within a few nodes. I have already tried the slope blur but it kind a doesn't get me the result. the one in the pic, looks like the edges are perfectly scrapped off. just wanted to know whether it is possible to do a texture like bevel rather than a normal bevel.
